What an amazing place!! We arrived at 10pm, the owner, Andrew came out to welcome us, so friendly and informative. We asked how much for our camper van, he said it's free. There's free hot water, teas, coffees, pastries. They provide so much for people with camper vans for free. Lovely walk for our 4 dogs, who were also made welcome. I can't believe some of the reviews here, they must be fibbing! Someone complained about the free teas and coffees for goodness sake!!!! The building of the hotel with 8 bedrooms is made of lovely stone and the grounds are well lit and huge! Right by the West Highland Way and close enough that you can visit the city in 20 minutes. We want to stay here for a few nights, and it's FREE!! We drove up from Southern Ireland and are driving down to Portugal, which we do every year and you don't often find great places like this!

Charging phone facilties, mini fridge on site .clean toilet and showrooms. Owner and staff is very down to earth. Open whole year anytime ...beautiful scenery and view ..Highly recommended

This was the most amazing stay!! We were made to feel so welcome and were spoilt rotten! We got to the house very late and it was all lit up beautfully from the outside. We were greeted by the owner, who let us know that our two collies wouldn't fit in the smallest room that we had booked, so he insisted on upgrading us and refused to let us pay the difference! He led us up to the most beautiful room with a gorgeous king-sized bed and two singles, the room was decorated so beautifully and was spotlessly clean. He showed us the kitchenette and told us to help ourselves to whatever we liked, which we did in the morning when we made two coffees in their very handy takeaway cups. The dogs couldn't get enough of the place; they were exploring everywhere, with the owner's encouragement. They drank from every water bowl, outside and in! There were also doggy treats available - this place is truly dog-friendly! We were gutted that we had to leave before it got light as we would have loved to have seen the beautiful view, but we will just have to come back. We've told everyone who will listen about this stay because it's such a rare thing to be made to feel so welcome and safe in such a beautiful place for an absolute steal. We will definitely be back, even if we have to make the journey just to stay there - it's a destination of its own.
