Il Girasole

A wonderful location in the heart of Buonconvento's historic center. Giuliana has expertly renovated this small apartment, equipped with every comfort. The exposed stone wall is stunning. Clean, spacious, and chic. Convenient for visiting the center. It even has a small, private, and delightful outdoor space. We also found everything we needed for refreshments upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. For those interested, there's room to store bikes. Well done Giuliana, and thank you for your efforts!

A wonderful surprise. The B&B is right in the center of a walled village, Buonconvento. In a historic building, the rooms have been lovingly and expertly restored. There's also a private internal garden on the ground floor. I imagine it would be perfect for those walking the Via Francigena. Every detail is meticulously cared for, and it shows. There's a light that turns on with the movement as soon as the front door opens. The door is made entirely of antique solid wood. The lock, however, is modern, and the blend of modern and antique is a leitmotif throughout the rooms. There's an old radio in a beautifully restored display cabinet. The floors are antique terracotta. The walls are exposed stone. The bathroom is a perfect blend of modern and antique, a union that just by looking at it, you can understand the attention and care that went into it. Of course, the photos online are good, but they don't fully convey the welcome you experience upon entering. Thank you!

Beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean two-room apartment. It lacks nothing, and has a small back garden. Ms. Giuliana is very kind. I highly recommend it.
