Cerenety Eco Camp Site

It is a beautiful campsite, with 2/3 stunning beaches within walking distance. The host, candy is really nice and so welcoming, we have came to this campsite 3/4 times and it never fails to impress. It's also brilliant if you want a nice peaceful, chilled and fun camping experience. We will definitely come back next year

Love it here and a regular. Fabulous eco site. Owner polite and really helpful , works hard to ensure you have everything you need. Showers hot and toilets compost clean. Great location, near to the canal, costal walks, town. Clear stary nights and fire pits loaned. Dog friendly. I just love it here 😍 Rustic site which makes it!

So, here is a lesson in reading reviews before booking. So read them and make up your own mind. Location is down a narrow lane, just big enough to get our T5 Transporter down. Field is slightly sloping but had been mown recently and was in good order. There were a number of benches for guests to use, but that is where the positives end. The facilities, if you can call them that, were a concoction of re-purposed materials, badly made and then left to rot. The showers were dirty and the toilets were just loo seats into a bucket lined with a compostable food waste bag. No paper provided and you just threw a handful of sawdust on top when you had finished. Lighting was just a few solar powered lights, some of which were not operational. Having spent 10 years using military training areas, I am used to basic facilities, but this is beyond a joke. Our son, who is an electrician, took a photo of the fuse board in the ablutions shed so he could show his boss and then they can have a competition to see who could spot the most faults with the installation that he said would not pass an IECR inspection. On arrival, there was a mobile number listed to call to book in. It went straight to voicemail and nobody ever called back. I could have driven in, parked and stayed without booking. A bit of a shambles really. Whatever they earn from bookings isn't being reinvested in the site. Suffice to say we would not recommend this site.
