Hotel Restaurant Bergfreund

What else can be said that perfect. The Hotel Restaurant Bergfreund was a wonderful stop on our trip to Zermatt. The hotel is just off the road, there was ample parking the hotel rooms were tidy and comfortable. The restaurant was exceptional! Every dish was equally delicious and surprising. The tomato soup, the salads, the weisswien soup! Every dish was a delight. If you cant spend the night, stop for a meal. It is fantastic.

Stopped at the restaurant for lunch before our hike up to Europahutte. Between the three of us we got two rostis and a burger - everything was excellent. The rosti with the side plate of local meats and cheeses was a treat.

I went to the restaurant here, ordered the beef burger with no cheese. This is hands down the best burger I have ever eaten! It was juicy, perfect bun, perfect French fries(chips). I will absolutely come back here again!
