Hotel Gasthof Stern

I absolutely love supporting locals when traveling and when excellence and attention to details come together all the better. That’s how Gasthof Stern felt. Sparkling clean with an incredible bier garten. The hotel and grounds are uniquely tucked back from the bustle of downtown to avoid noise but not that far out to warrant a hassle. I was blown away to see photos of the owners and kids at the same establishment. Wow. Rooms have that alpine vibe but are ultra modern. I’m not positive but I am sure all rooms and main areas have been remodeled recently. Well done. Food is five star. My wife and I are veg and they prepared a pumpkin risotto that was the best we have had. When in the Lech, stay at Stern! My only issue was that we didn’t stay long enough.

Amazing family owned business with a very client orientated approach, they will do anything to make sure you have the best time ever. They looked after me so well that I think there couldn't do any more than that. I felt them very close, friends not anything else.

Nice traditional restaurant with friendly staff. The food was tasty and typical for this region (quite heavy/fatty).
