Lewannick Farm

We have just returned home from our second stay at Lewannick Farm - Stable. Again we have had a super relaxing week - great weather, fantastic scenery and really good company from Geoff the owner. We couldn’t ask for any more from the cottage - spotlessly clean, with everything that is needed for a home from home. We felt so relaxed, left alone to do exactly what we wanted, to come and go as we pleased, yet knowing there was on hand help if ever needed. The second cottage was also occupied, so there were cheerful greetings but no intrusions on each other’s space. The cottage is within walking distance of the excellent beach at Porth Joke and at Holywell Bay - both favourites of mine and is then close to the main routes for visits further afield. For us we made visits to Padstow, Trevone Bay, Fowey, St Ives amongst the many other stops on route. Locally there are shops at Cubert, pubs and restaurants within easy reach and for a “Big Shop” Supermarkets in Newquay. We have holidayed in Cornwall for many years with our Children and now that they have grown up we are delighted to have found this gem. We look forward to our next visit.

Stayed back in February with my GF. It's cosy and secluded and the proprietor is lovely. Walks are great whether you want to go long or just to the pub (of which there are several nearby).
