Auchtertyre House

Our stay at Auchtertyre was wonderful. The house is warm, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. There were 12 of us, a multi-generational family group, and the house met all of our requirements. The grounds and views are stunning. There are plenty of walks on the doorstep with Tyndrum and Bridge of Orchy, both just a short drive away, providing places to eat out. Everyone in our group was very impressed by the house and its setting.

We had the most wonderful stay at Auchtertyre House. There was 11 of us ranging from 66-6yrs old. The house itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds and views are breathtaking. Extremely clean and well equipped, absolutely everything you need for your stay. We arrived just before storm Amy which blew out the electricity in the area for 48hrs and the lovely hosts did everything they could to ensure we were warm and comfortable during our stay. We absolutely loved our week at Auchtertyre House and would love to come back again.

Don't look any further, this home is fabulous! We stayed here in July 2025 and have just booked to stay again next summer. The house itself is so spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The grounds around the house are beautiful, well maintained and ideal for sitting out in enjoying the peaceful surroundings, which are simply stunning. There are beautiful walks around the property, you're right on the West Highland Way. The wildlife and scenery are abundant. There's a fabulous cafe across the main road (there's even an underpass to get to it) and some shops for provisions 5 mins drive away. We felt it was the perfect base to explore various places, we visited Stirling, Oban, Mull and we drove up to Skye one day. But even if you didn't want to travel too much, you could never tire relaxing in the house and gardens. My daughter was especially impressed by the abundance of books all throughout the house.
