Il Bottaccio, Relais & Châteaux

My wife and I stayed at Il Bottaccio at the end of September for our honeymoon, and it was easily one of the greatest hospitality experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel like the hotel existed just for us. Irina and Aldo were both incredible, warm, attentive, and genuinely caring from start to finish. Irina deserves a special mention for being so helpful and wonderful to work with over the past year as we planned our trip. Every detail was handled with care, and the level of personal attention was beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all exceptional. We had planned this trip for over a year, and Il Bottaccio exceeded every expectation. I rarely write reviews, but this stay was something truly special. It was a dream come true, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Il Bottaccio is more than just a hotel — it feels like staying with friends who happen to live in a historic Tuscan villa. The team here deserves all the credit: warm, funny, and genuinely caring. They looked after us inside the hotel, and outside too — their tips on where to go were spot on (seriously, don’t bother with Google, just ask them). Add to that amazing food, beautiful rooms, and you’ve got a place you’ll never want to leave.

Our suite was incredible. Beautifully designed with stylish decor. The garden was absolutely stunning, like something out of a fairytale. And the service was truly top tier.
