The Shores Country House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shores Country House. The rooms are decorated beautifully with stunning views over the sea and surrounding greenery. The house is located nearby to Castlegregory village where there are plenty of excellent options for dinner. Annette is the most gracious host and she truly goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of every guest. Breakfast is presented very well and the food is of excellent quality with nice variety. We would recommend the house to anyone looking to visit the area, thank you Annette for a fantastic stay.

This Bed & Breakfast was MORE THAN INCREDIBLE, and 5 stars really doesn’t do it justice. The Shores Country House was simply charming, and perfect in every way! The Shores is located on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula, a short drive from the town of Dingle. Actually, the town is Castlegregory, and it sits on a stunning stretch of beach directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! Sunsets over the ocean were brilliant, and with beach access just a minute down the road from her home, we were even able to go for walks on the beach. The owner, Annette, was a fabulous hostess, so genuinely helpful and sweet and professional. Her rooms were luxurious and comfortable and PLUSH, and well equipped with everything you would need. The view from our sea-view room was spectacular! And for breakfasts, we felt like royalty! Breakfasts were held in her beautiful dining room with big picture window looking out at the ocean. We had the most delicious “Irish breakfasts”, complete with fresh fruit and juices, eggs, sausage, bacon, puddings, and she always finished up with some special sweet treat. Everything about The Shores Country House was exceptional. We highly recommend staying at Annette’s beautiful home if you are looking for Irish charm and serenity near Dingle. What a wonderful Irish experience! Our family of 5 loved every minute of it - from the friendliest host Annette (and all the ladies that were helping us in the morning!) to the amazing views (the sheep by the sea!) and a very comfortable and clean home with delicious breakfast, we felt so lucky to have found this B&B. Ask Annette for local dining recommendations or really anything (she helped us find a local photographer!). We hope to be back someday - thank you, Annette!
