Gästehaus Ketterer

My husband and I stayed for a week when I was at the Foldi clinic for a class. Martina is the absolute best. She is so kind and accommodating. Several other classmates stayed elsewhere and had bad things to say about their accommodations while the group from my class that stayed at Gastehaus Ketterer were all more than happy with our choice. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough, you won’t regret it! Thanks again, Martina!!

Arrived at 7 pm. Clean room, 2 balconies, great view. The beds are good. I did not have breakfast at the pension. You are on your own there. The train station is about a 7-minute walk and so is the centre of the village (church, bakery, supermarket, butcher, restaurants etc). I assume there are buses but the Flixbus no longer stops at this place (the nearest place is Titisee or Freiburg). It's a great place to hike but it is hard to make contact. There are mainly elderly people. Note: although promised the special public transport card for tourists was not received, although, the info was sent by e-mail in advance.

Perfect for hiking without car. 10 minutes walk to the train station. Breakfast is ordered in advance with all options one could think of. But the best is the friendly service. Also the view from most rooms is really nice since the house is on top of a small hill. Rooms are basic, but some have balcony and/or access to a large terrace.
