My daughter and my stay in Ginoza was a highlight of our entire trip to Italy because of the kindness shown to us by Massimo and his father Mario. They are very sweet, kind and professional. They offered to help us with even the smallest request. They provided a lovely, fresh and lavish breakfast. Ginoza is central to many interesting sights. The rooms are clean, airy, beautiful and tastefully designed with simplicity. We were extremely touched by Massimo and his family and were so very happy to spend our vacation at the Contrada Cappuccini. I will dream about returning. Tori, NC and KT, NYC

What can we say? If we ever return to visit Matera and the surrounding area, this will be our favorite place. Ginosa is a lively and welcoming town with a ravine that will take you on a journey through history and spectacular nature, and with many restaurants and butchers for sublime dining.

A beautiful property expertly restored down to the last detail, with enchanting ceilings and a touch of old-world charm, and comfortable, spotless rooms. Massimo and Mario are incredibly kind and welcoming, offering impeccable service as well as excellent, generous breakfasts, showcasing local flavors. Highly recommended.
