Infair, overbooking. 5 months in advance paid for a Rorbuer on the water, with no option to cancel, for mid-August. The day before I receive usual check in information but after 10 min another message informing me that due to a plumbing problem the Rorbuer was inaccessible, proposing alternative accommodation in a house in the village or a complete refund. With such short notice I was forced to accept the alternative accommodation. But on visiting Å I discovered that the Rorbuer was not out of use but occupied by other tourists! Upon request for an explanation they do not respond In short, I paid dearly for a typical Lofoten cabin on the water and ended up in a house in the village I hope this doesn't happen to you

Somewhat expensive for what you get. It was good enough for our purpose but the nostalgia of being in a fisher hut isn't really worth it. Everything was clean. Good kitchen. WiFi was reasonable. The surroundings were astounding of course.

Super cosy fisher man’s cabin at the end of Lofoten. Nice staff, nice place, close to spectacular hiking.
