Strandcamping Winkler

Near to the highway and okay for a visit on your way down to Croatia. Because of that there is always a free pitch available. Those pitches are really really small if you travel with a caravan as you will have trouble fitting your car with you on the pitch without going over the borders (a lot of annoying people will be instantly all over you telling you how you could do it different and better and that they feel disturbed that you crossed borders). That is not really a fault of the staff there which is really nice but rather the people that stay there. Showers and toilets are always clean as the (really nice) cleaning guy is always working to keep everything in good shape. You also got a nice little beach only for guests that stay there.

The campsite is nice, facilities are beautiful and clean and the private access to the lake is amazing. However, we payed €58 for just one night (two adults with one tent), which felt excessive!
