Ariu Guesthouse

We had a wonderful stay at Ariu Guesthouse in Reka e Allagës! Mustafa and his wife were incredibly warm and welcoming — such kind and genuine hosts. The food was delicious, the showers were hot, and there was even Wi-Fi, which was a nice bonus in such a remote location. The house was a bit cold at first due to the season, but Mustafa lit the fireplace for us, and we could sit by the fire to dry our shoes and warm up. The room was cozy, and we slept comfortably through the night. The location along the Peaks of the Balkans trail is perfect — a great stop with true hospitality and mountain charm.

We camped here for one night, and although there is not much space for tents, we were comfortable. The food was good and eating inside the home was nice and welcoming. Although we didn’t stay inside, the accommodations looked nice enough. A beautiful setting in a very quiet location.

This was one of our favourite places to stay on the Peaks of the Balkans trek. A beautiful house, wonderful hosts and delicious traditional food! We would highly recommend staying here!!
