Campingplatz und Pension Ostrauer Mühle

Ww spent 3 days with our roof tent. Quite place with clean facilities. 50cents for shower using card. Good place to stay for hiking. However, the Internet connection is too bad. Bus and train accessible

We spent a weekend hiking in the area and the location of the camping was ideal with access to many trails. The camping was very organized with various types of accommodation (tents, RVs, rooms). Every type had its dedicated spot in the area, but everything was surrounded by nature. Indeed, a very beautiful location. All the facilities were clean and well preserved. In case you are traveling light -as we did- there is a restaurant serving food and drinks from 12pm to 10pm.

I stayed here from 9/08/2025 until 10/08/2025, when I arrived there was nobody at the reception but when I called the phone number they spoke good English and were very helpful. The spots by the water are quite nice, I was able to park my car near my tent for easy access. The sanitation house was very clean, the shower does cost money but it is worth it. The area is by far the best part of this camping, you are easily able to hike to the Schrammstein which is totally worth it and offers a beautiful view from above.
