Les Chambres du Soleil

We stumbled upon this little hidden gem at the foot of the hill and were absolutely delighted. It’s a small, cozy place with a charming courtyard — and to our surprise, chickens were freely roaming around the yard and even under the tables! The atmosphere felt genuinely warm and inviting. The owner greeted our group so kindly, and the chef himself brought out the dishes. Everything we tasted was truly delicious — real comfort food, made with heart. A lovely and unexpected find we’ll definitely remember.

A great place to stay while on the TMB. We stayed in a 2-person private room and were very happy. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Access to great hot water shower with no time limit. Dinner and breakfast were both great. The packed lunch was also quite good. Only downside was that dinner is served family-style, which can be a bit awkward when eating at a table with transfer (as you want to be polite, but also make sure you get your fill after a long day hiking). Also just to note - there was no cell service at this place.

This is a beautiful stop on the TMB. We had a private room for the three of us, and it was clean with it's own bathroom. Food was abundant and tasty. Of note, there is no Wifi or reception, so enjoy the disconnect!
