Residence Emile Rey

Great accommodation, well organised and fair price. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed for two weeks in this wonderful residence, located in the village of La Saxe, very close to the center of Courmayeur, a ten-minute walk. Apartment number 2 was clean, and the kitchen had everything you need, including pots and pans in good condition and everything you needed, including a microwave and kettle. The residence is located in an ancient village, and I love ancient and quaint villages. Obviously, being a village, you can't expect the roads to be wide; you have to adapt. It's best to have a medium-sized 4x4. Otherwise, you can leave your car in the large parking lot at the beginning, before climbing up to the village, or park on Grand Rue, which leads directly to the village. There are other parking lots on that road too. The inconvenience of having a car is nothing compared to living in an ancient village, away from the chaos and with a view of splendid mountains. The owners of the residence, Loredana and Piero, are very kind, reliable, and helpful. In short, we had a great time and if we have the opportunity to return to Courmayeur, we will definitely return to the Emile Rey residence.

We spent a wonderful week with our one-year-old baby in an apartment in this residence. Very welcoming, strategically located in a very peaceful area: close to the center, which is just a pleasant short walk away. The prices were reasonable, and the owners were kind and very helpful. Thank you, Piero and Loredana. We will definitely be back.
