Parador de La Gomera

Visited here for one night on a motorcycle trip. Did not have high standards. Superior room 125. Checked in and when entering the far hall where room was located the hallway smelled of sewage. The room was no better. The AC did not work. The ceiling fan made an awful noise and could not be used. I called reception and they did send someone out. They said they had to turn the AC back on because it was off from work LAST week. They placed an air purifier of some type in the room and spayed a solution to improve the smell. The temperature outside was pleasant, but you could not leave the doors open at night due to being on the first floor and anyone could walk in your room. There was no windows that could open otherwise. There was a half dead roach in the middle of the room upon arrival also. The views from the hotel were amazing but I would stay elsewhere. This is not worth €290 for the night! The room did cool down but the sewage smell persisted.

Very nicely sited above San Sebastian. Beautiful courtyards and gardens. We didn't stay over but noticed a lovely sheltered swimming pool. Had a tasty snack.

Lovely, peaceful experience in a very comfortable hotel with stunning gardens. We had a very relaxed time, enjoyed the food and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pool area.
