Colombres Campsite

I have only been here one night so far, but so far its been fantastic, the people ate all sooo nice and helpful all speak English, sanitary block is very clean and tidy, great for campervans, tents, caravans, and they have chalets to rent too. I might even book another night here its lovely.

We had a lovely stay at this peaceful family campsite just 10 minutes from the stunning Playa de La Franca and right at the edge of the Picos de Europa. We stayed in one of the luxury safari tents – spacious, well-equipped, and super comfortable. It had two bedrooms, a proper rain shower, private toilet, a full kitchen with oven/microwave, a cozy living room with TV, a dining area, and a large terrace. As seasoned campers, we can honestly call this a real glamping experience! The tent was in a quiet spot with a partial view of the Picos (wish it was a bit more open, but still beautiful). The campsite itself is clean and calm, with a nice pool, a decent restaurant, and a small shop for fresh bread and basic groceries. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect place for families with young kids; plenty of activities and facilities for them. For teenagers (like ours, 16 and 18), it’s a bit quiet, and there weren’t many people their age around. So maybe not the best fit for families with older kids. But overall, a great base to explore the area: amazing hikes in the Picos, lovely beaches with good food, and the charming town of Colombres just around the corner.
