The location is fantastic but that's about it! I have had better accommodation on military operations than this. A very disappointing stay despite the great location. The location is genuinely fantastic, but everything else fell far below what I’d expect from a “3‑star” hotel and reminds me of a hotel that was built in Franco's time has seen better days. You will definitely love the lift which reminds me of a lift in East Berlin just after the walk came down. The room itself was extremely dated. Yes, it had a lovely view of the park, but that’s where the positives ended. The old radiators had their taps removed — apparently to stop anyone from turning them on — though I doubt they even work. Although reception said they may come on between 7pm and 8pm. There was no phone in the room to contact reception, and not even a basic glass to drink from, which every other hotel manages to provide. The bathroom was the worst part. If you keep your eyes closed, you might cope, but once you open them… it’s rough. During my shower, the drain began to overflow, soaking the entire floor, and the room filled with steam because the ventilation was so poor. At least there was hot water, though at times it was too hot, to the point of feeling unsafe. As others have mentioned, the Wi‑Fi was so spotty I eventually gave up trying to use it. In the morning everything I had felt damp, unsure why, but maybe the lack of ventilation. Overall, this was a huge letdown. I paid far too much for a room with outdated facilities, and basic amenities missing. The location may be great, but the hotel itself is nowhere close to 3‑star quality.

The location is fantastic but — very strange service even though the guy at the front desk seemed kind. There is nobody at the main entrance; you have to enter via the cafe. The room is fine - liked my view of the park but… there was NO HEAT IN THE ROOM. They have old school radiators that seem like they dont function. There was definitely not heat coming out when I arrived and also no heat through the night (i had to call at 2am using my mobile phone because there are no phones in the room, they said they’d turn it on but i was still freezing all night). The bathroom was ugh, the drain began to overflow during my shower lol - but atleast there was hot water. Oh and as others noted, wifi is very spotty too and almost not functional. I feel bad leaving a bad review but this was such a letdown for a “3 star”. Paid waaay too much for the quality of the room and the lack of heat.

I booked this hotel because of the Wi-Fi and there is no Wi-Fi. The router works, but there is no Wi-Fi connection. The room is comfortable, and there is a normal door lock, but not a secondary lock on the door. Staff is very friendly though
