Heathbank

A lovely small hotel in a quiet spot with great views. Marion is very knowledgeable and caring about her community, shared lots of information and happily answered our many questions about island life. Breakfasts were excellent and one evening we enjoyed dinner from a menu catering for all tastes. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Highly recommend Heathbank Hotel.

A lovely stay on Barra. Marion and her team were incredibly welcoming and ensured we had a wonderful stay. They saved us a table for dinner on the night we arrived off the ferry and dinner was absolutely delicious, with a gorgeous view over the local bay. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty as well. We would gladly return to this little slice of paradise.

Good local menu featuring much fish/ seafood. Service bright and attentive, food nicely done, haddock with very fresh veg was lovely, steak and chips also nicely done, good pepper sauce too. Very comfortable chairs appreciated. Nil faults.
