Isle of Skye Camping Pods

Our two-night stay at the Camping pods was very pleasant and suggestive. The little houses are really cute, basic but comfortable! We really enjoyed our time there. In addition, the managers were extremely kind and ready to answer to our questions! Highly recommended place to experience moments of wonderful tranquility and peace, immersed in a breathtaking panorama!

BEDBUGS. Please beware. When we discovered their pods were infested with bedbugs they booted us out at 11pm at night, at which point we were unable to find another place to stay. We were forced to sleep in their driveway and they refused to let us use their facilities (aka we had to urinate in their driveway). Horrifying experience.

Cannot really fault this place. Everything that is complained about in other reviews is explained when your booking. Remember its a camping pod not a hotel room. The pod for 2 people is warm and plenty of room. The bed is comfortable and we used an open sleeping bag to sleep under. Pillow is provided. The shower works well and your far enough from any other pods to hear any noise. For food there is a kettle or we found an amazing pizza place 3 mins drive north of the campsite that does take away. The best thing about this place is the location. It's just off the main road but far enough you can barely hear it. It's around 30 mins drive to anywhere on the isle. Making getting to the destinations really simple. After doing the NC500 it's nice to give the driving a rest for a day or 2.
