Bayview Guest House

Rude and inhospitable host. He was very rude when we arrived earlier than he expected us, even though we were after the check-in time advised by our travel agent. No apology when we showed him our documentation. Offered no advice on places of interest or places to eat. The most unfriendly host in our 5 week stay in Scotland.

We stayed in Bayview’s s/c cabin for our last two days of a motorcycle adventure through the Hebrides. If Google reviews gave 6 stars, we would give this place a 6. All the luxury of a London Boutique Hotel on Barra, with a stunning view. Fantastically well appointed. Super comfortable bed and a lovely hot shower. Martin and Barbara were very friendly and helpful, up to and including moving their van so we had somewhere a bit more level to park our bikes! Love the place and thoroughly recommend it :-)

We stayed in the modern cabin, alongside the main guest house. Absolutely superb! Amazing views, spotlessly clean, very well equipped with two televisions, shower room, kitchen essentials, etc. Warm and comfy for our two night stay in a bitterly cold and windy February. Owners are really hospitable people. Would highly recommend.
