Trethewey Guest House

All I can say is there was just nothing to fault at Trethewey Guest House. Although I understand this is a new venture for Bob and Maria, everything was superb. They are so welcoming and the house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. My room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a lovely en suite shower. Bob's full English breakfast was just that, full and also very tasty. The house is ideally situated in a peaceful location just out of Fowey town centre with a beautiful wooded pathway very close to the house that leads directly to the seafront. Highly recommended and I will definitely visit again.

Excellent! Bob and his son Joe were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, giving lots of information of places to visit and how to get there, even giving us a map. Their place was very clean and comfortable (spotless), with all the facilities you need in your room. My wife had an excellent full English breakfast, which she enjoyed, I helped myself to as much cereal as I wanted and made myself 4 pieces toast (lovely). Felt very relaxed and homely. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to anybody.

We had an excellent stay here! The host Robert is lovely, very helpful, and cooks up a delicious breakfast with plenty of options! Rooms are cosy, comfy and tidy. The Guesthouse is well situated in Fowey; it’s only a short walk into town and allows for a peaceful sleep. We loved staying here!
