Rooms, Bar, Restaurant and Terrace Mountain Lodge

The place is probably ideal for a winter holiday but not summer when windows need to be open.. On the positive side, the location is great at the main square with a gorgeous view. The room is nice and modern, mattress is firm and good. Breakfast (across the street) is decent (as expected in such establishments). On the negative side: We had a horrendous sleep, as the hotel has no air-conditioning or any fans. The room was boiling hot (even at night!) and the roof window that could have provided some breeze was not functioning. We had to open all other windows, resulting in mosquitos. Despite the high price, they provide no mosquito repellents, tablets or liquids (lady laughed at me when i suggested it next morning). Also keep in mInd that the village's church is right across from the establishment, with loud bells ringing every 15min (it was charming in he evening) however, they start again at 7am and then ring them non-stop for 5 minutes at 7:30am and 8 am daily!!! They also incredibly shockingly reversed my payment (i can only assume when they realised I had used AMEX for payment), by claiming that it did not go through 10 minutes later, asking me to use another card (!). [The payment was accepted on their system and my bank records as can seen attached]. This is not how you run a business...

Nice place, but way too loud. Almost midnight and you can feel the music in the bed. Don't open the windows the cigarette smoke will come right into the room.

Nice apartment for a short stay. We booked two rooms as we had 5 in our group. Close to Zermatt. Parking fees apply if you want to park directly outside the apartment. There is no kitchen facilities inside the apartment. Two double beds with a small fridge. Unfortunately our daughter left her electric toothbrush behind. We informed the owners but they haven’t responded since we called them to report a lost item. We hope they will contact us.
