Sorry this place is over rated. Rick Stein might love it but we didn’t. I went specifically for Steins fish and chips and a walk around - both were disappointing go to LOOE instead!

Lovely town and harbour. The Rick stein factor is obvious every corner you turn. Most shops charge a premium. Nice beach past the harbour and plenty of good eateries.

It's an attractive little port with narrow streets and some lovely shops, but even during February lots and lots and lots of tourists some of hume insist on bringing their dogs with them, I do own a dog but there's to much going on for a dog to cope with, yes most are calm as one local put it, we like the tourists but why do they have to bring their dogs, it's not nice for any dog to be amongst crowds of people, so do yourself and your dog a favor, leave it at home.
