We were a group of 4 skiing over Finnmarksvidda. First night was at Jotka.that was amazing. Serious driven place with clean beds and really nice food. And breakfast was amazing. Good quality of the food. Then the next day you go to Mollisjok. The host was nice and the dinner ok. But the breakfast… charging 300kr for low quality food is not ok. You feel that the host want to make the most profit out of it. I could sence it on the dinner the day before that we should skip the breakfast. And I was right. (I tasted the butter that came with the bread and it was not even butter) Everything was from the cheapest brand from Rema 1000. Also the host want to save him self from gluten alleric guests so he gives ALL guests glutenfree bread?? Please. This is a kind reminder to make a change for the better. Spend 163kr more per time you spend 3000kr at Rema 1000 and the guests will be more happy. Thanks.

I was skiing from Alta to Karasjok, i stopped at Tofinn, Øvre mollisjok. I had a nice experience there, there was good food and desert :) But the only complaint was when i was skiiing towards Karasjok, he was cutting down some official government signs in the middle of nowhere, i didn't understand it but he was 10/10 host
Always Forward
Best people taking care of you in Mollisjohka. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful sauna, excellent food. Long story: The Sami manager of Mollisjohk and an employee showed up with their snowmobiles by my tent the night before my stay in this cabin. They wanted to check that everything was fine with me. Really not used to such a luxurious treatment! The following day l skied 7km to Mollisjohka and l decided to stay and enjoy one day with these great people. l drunk more coffee with them that l could take. I was treated to 'Sami style' reindeer (meat boiled with salt - delicious!) and waffles! Dinner was top notch (reindeer with mush potatoes and vegetables. Ice-cream for dessert ). I then took a fantastic sauna (just by myself). I stayed in a wonderful cabin right by the river. Super cozy, with beautiful views of the river, and the ice and snow formations. In the morning l had bacon and eggs, more coffee (yes!), bread, dried meat, butter and jam... I had gotten a cold on my way to Alta. These guys provided me with medicines during my stay but also for the coming days. I had met a bunch of strangers who came to my tent to offer help in case of need. When it was time to go, l was leaving behind a few new friends who now felt like family. What was my surprise when in the evening that day, while sitting in the tent, l got a message from them asking if l was doing alright (it had been a seriously windy day). Visit this place, be nice & friendly and trust me you'll have a fenomenal stay among these lovely and caring people.
