Watermill Moinho Garcia

The experience at García Watermill was incredible. The surroundings are truly epic; by far and away, it is the best place to unwind. It’s a place to calm down and cool off during these scorching hot days. The waterfalls are a bonus for connecting with nature.

Lovely host awesome vibes I'll be honest was chilly but that's just the time of year I'm walking and place was cosy...really no complaints also yea booze on offer on the cheap had a lovely day shower beer definitely a nice experience...also if you heading north to Porto you about it hit nothing but civilisation so was really nice getting that last taste of nature

This hostel was an incredible stop along our Portuguese Camino. We arrived and immediately took a dip in the natural waterfalls outside which was very refreshing after a long day of walking. The location was so peaceful and it was very nice to stay outside of town for a night. Also, the host gave us great advice on recommending us to head straight toward the coast the very next day instead of continuing inland toward Porto - best decision ever! The host also cooked a wonderful pasta dinner for us and we had lots of great conversation with the host and other pilgrims as we shared dinner together. We highly recommend staying here!
