Berliner Hütte

Amazing views and a great reward after a hike. The terrace offers breathtaking views of the glacier. The food was very good, especially considering it’s the only option in the area. Prices were fair, and the quality was impressive for a mountain hut — not something you find often at this altitude.

Beautiful place and good point to rest during more days tours or as a place to stay and hike from here to the sourounding places. Great views, building, service and food, especially salad bar.

I sent two emails to tell them I was very late; then to say I wouldn’t arrive as I was exhausted and needed to stop at another hut. I asked if they could inform my group. No replies or contact with the group to say I was okay. Great looking hut, not sure of the mountain mentality of the staff.
