L'hospitale del Pellegrino

Very nice place to stay during the Via Francigena or otherwise. Ignazio, who runs the place, is kind and welcoming, and we had some interesting conversations with him about capitalism, freedom and bananas. He also made us an excellent dinner - pasta with a salad (tomatoes grown in his garden!)

I stayed at L’hospitale del Pellegrino while walking the Via Francigena. The host is very kind, he speaks very good French, English and of course Italian. The beds were certainly more comfortable than most of the ostellos I have stayed at along the Via Fracigena. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful location. He is very engaging and enjoys spending time with pilgrims which is always nice to me. Check was easy.

Nice accommodation and very nice family atmosphere. We got dinner and breakfast. I would really recommend it to everybody. San Miniato is beautiful old city.
