Molla Guest House

Such a treat to have stayed at Molla Guest House. The superb location, above the city center, allows a privilege view and a precious quietness. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfy mattress and planty hot water for showers. We loved the decorations. Food is exquisite with lots of homemades and local products and very generous portions. We went in October so when it was too cold outside we hanged in the dining room by the fireplace, it was delightful and cozy. Best of all was the staff who provided an excellent service and made us feel very welcomed. They are kind people and made our stay so pleasant we can't wait to go back! Free parking and WiFi available. Absolutely recommend, thank you! 😁

Our favorite stay on our entire Balkans trip! The house is tucked up into the hills over Theth, close enough to the sites in town to be convenient but far enough to be quiet and serene with gorgeous views. Rafael and his mother were so kind, helping us with suggestions for hiking and even providing extra raincoats. Arriving back to the house after a rainy hike to the roaring fire and thick fur rugs was heavenly. The house itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, and the meals provided were among the best we had in Albania. We traveled in early November and the road was open and the scenery breathtaking. Hope to bring my family back someday, and would make a delightful site for a writing retreat!

Thank you to the Molla family for a wonderful stay here. We loved everything about this place especially the people, food and quiet location with stunning views of the mountains. The food was amazing and especially the breakfast which included pancakes, lovely fig jam and fresh milk amongst other things. The rooms were very spacious and nice decor. It was a quiet location as it was about 30 minutes walk from Theth centre. The family provided a taxi service to get to the start of the Blue Eye trail and organised us a lift back to Shkoder - thanks for that Rafa! We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay to others.
