Movenpick Hotel Basel

We loved the hotel. 5 min walk from train station. Rooms were spacious and clean, friendly staff, check in was easy. We did not eat here but heard the food was good from other travelers. The evening chocolate event was much smaller and not what we expected from the advertisement/description. Really loved the rooms though. Plenty of space and super clean. High floor allowed for views of the city. Shower was a little different with only half a barrier to keep the water in instead of a door or curtain. Door on the bathroom was a plus and beds were comfortable. Will stay here again

As a frequent business traveller who stays in hotels worldwide, I can confidently say this is one of the better business hotels I’ve experienced. The staff were incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming. They went out of their way to assist with queries and arrangements, making the entire stay smooth and stress-free. The rooms are spacious, modern, and beautifully appointed, with excellent cleanliness and comfortable furnishings. I especially appreciated the modern bathroom and the impressive views over Basel. The hotel restaurant is a real highlight — the food was surprisingly good for hotel standards. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide, high-quality buffet offering that catered to every taste and dietary preference. The location is extremely convenient: just a short walk from Basel SBB station and a quick drive from the airport. The city itself is compact and easy to explore on foot, and the complimentary public transport pass provided by the hotel was a fantastic and very practical touch. Facilities are also very good, with a well-equipped gym and a pleasant spa area that helped me unwind after a long workday. Overall, I highly recommend the Mövenpick Hotel Basel for business travellers — it’s a top-tier choice and one of the best options in the city.
