We truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and had a wonderful coffee break. The apricot cake was the best we’ve ever had! Thank you for your kind hospitality — even extended to non-hotel guests — as well as the delicious food and the beautiful photo book celebrating the 250th anniversary, which we now have, We’ll be back for an overnight stay!

A place straight out of a dream. Here you can really take a break, there is no WiFi, no phones or laptops in the hotel, but what you get instead is warm hospitality, a fairytale like scenery, good food and clean air. It became one of my favorite hotels in the world straightaway.

I didn’t stay overnight, just stopped in for lunch during a hike, and I’m so glad I did! I wasn’t expecting much, but the food completely exceeded my expectations. The vegetable and beef stew was absolutely incredible -- honestly better than anything I’ve had in Switzerland. Though the chicken strip was just okay (a little dry) and the peach pie didn't quite have a peachy taste. Overall, I'd 100% come back for the hearty stew in a beautiful spot!
