Hotel Bristol

I sent a reservation request on Freedreams to them, they declined it, without reason. I double checked the availability of rooms on both of freedreams, and on the hotels own website, and they clearly have free rooms (both north facing and south facing) for my timeslot. Then I wrote a polite a request to check if my request was refused by mistake, but I got a short, kind of impolite answer, stating that they "have the right to decline". Very disappointing experience so far.

Wonderful family run hotel. Right in the centre of this charming town yet set back in a very quiet location. Good rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains. Spotless and comfortable. Meals (both dinner and breakfast ) were excellent. Staff were lovely. We stayed two nights towards the end of our Via Alpina trek. Had a very restful and restorative time. Wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else if I came back to Adelboden.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Bristol Adelboden in May at the beginning of hiking season. We started each day with the fabulous breakfast - what a great beginning to the day. The location and amenities are excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view from our window was breathtaking. Hotel staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The manager is fluent in multiple languages and made sure our stay was extra special. I would highly recommend to anyone planning a vacation to the Swiss Alps. I hope to return very soon!
