Hotel RELAX

Nice place. Not much English spoken but it’s nice and inexpensive. Good air conditioning. Close to outdoor museums. Not close to other places. On grounds food options are OK. The bar is nice. The massage was good.

Arrived late on Friday, there were maybe 4 or 5 rooms occupied only. The corridor on 5th floor was very cold, it was a bit warmer in the room, but still "cold". The radiators were maxed, however it was still cold in the room. We went to sleep as we were very tired, it was warm enough in beds. Next day morning we've noticed a very small card under the TV, in Czech language only that the air conditioning in this room has a heating function and it can be turned on. We weren't told about it on reception while checking in. It actually worked and the room got warm within minutes. The room was definitely recently renovated, very clean, but nobody installed a radiator or hot air duct in the bathroom. The swimming pool is nice if there are no more than 8 people in it. The parking log is large, lobby bar serves food until 8:30 PM (last order time). Breakfast was really good as for ~20 guests at that time in the whole hotel, however the "coffee" machine should be replaced to a one that makes a proper coffee using beans, not instant powder.

Very affordable, but a bit underwhelming. The "superior" room had a very nice view, but everything felt cheap and make-shift, and there was this chemical smell. No A/C, but I didn't need it. The outdoor pool and the spa could use an upgrade. The breakfast was OK.
