We were supposed to celebrate our wedding at this Berghotel, but unfortunately, we had to cancel it due to a series of disappointing experiences. At first, we trusted them completely — they organize many weddings, so we thought we were in good hands. However, we never received a proper contract despite asking for one several times. Later, we realised that important information was often withheld until the last minute. For example, we were promised that our wedding would be a private event, but only a few weeks before the date, we were told that another group would be there at the same time, holding what sounded like a public “fair.” That completely changed the atmosphere we had planned for an intimate celebration. We were also told that parking would be unlimited, but in the end, we would have had only 15 spaces for about 60 guests (they did offer a free shuttle as a solution). Communication was very difficult throughout the process — phone calls were rarely answered and emails often took weeks to get a reply. For every problem that arose, we felt like we were the only ones trying to find solutions. Even a simple food tasting was refused. In the end, we were so exhausted and uncertain that we decided to cancel. Thankfully, because there was no contract, it was easy to do so. When we canceled, we were told they were the “Rolls-Royce” of weddings — implying that we were the problem — but reading other reviews, we realised we were not the only couple facing similar issues. It’s truly a beautiful venue with great potential, but if you decide to get married there, learn from our mistake: don’t move forward without a written contract and make sure all promises are clearly confirmed in writing.

Incredible glaming experience at the Berghotel Hahnenmoos glamping village. We made our email request for reservations and received a prompt response. Our visit was in September and had great weather. It ended up raining on the last night, but nice to watch to the rain and lightning from our windows. They helped translate the map in English for us. It was easy to navigate by car, and had free parking on site. There were breathtaking views and great hiking trails all around. We had breakfast and dinner included. There was a wide selection of options you could select each day and let them know what time to deliver to your hut. The freshly baked pastries, cheese, bread, charcuterie, muesli, milk were delicious and filling. We did have fondue one night and grill meats and veggies a second night in their grill house, both delicious. During the day, the restaurant had a wide range of food options available. There was a hot tub outdoors we used daily. I couldn't get over the beautiful mountain views while enjoying our wine in the hot tub. The service was great and friendly. It was such a memorable experience, we plan to return next year!

Did not sleep there but stopped for lunch few times during skiing. The place is massive but still absolutely packed, specially the terrace on a sunny day. But the vibe is great and if you get a spot, it’s worth it. Food is really not impressive at all but you can’t expect more on a self-service. Staff is on the rush. Find a table before buying food, you’ll avoid some painful walk with your plates… and ski shoes.
