A beautiful, simple guest house. The staff are wonderful. It’s very laid back, the restaurant plays lovely music and the breakfast food and wine were good. If you want 5 stars, pay for 5. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

Bedbugs and terrible service – avoid at all costs! Before midnight I noticed bedbugs in our room (no. 4) and I was already bitten all over. I asked to change the room, but they only offered one bed in a shared room - even though we were three people. When I requested help with finding another hotel, the manager told me I could just get a refund and book something myself on booking.com, because “there’s nothing available nearby.” Only after I insisted, they finally called someone and managed to arrange a room one minute away. The manager showed no real interest in the issue, and the other staff member needed to be pushed to take any action. The restaurant was just as bad. Every meat dish we ordered was bad – chicken and calf were dry, lamb was so hard and chewy we had to send it back. They removed it from the bill, but before that asked us if maybe we had a problem with our teeth since we couldn’t chew it. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Honestly, don’t ruin your holiday – stay away from both the hotel and the restaurant. Read the reviews more carefully than I did - you’ll see they have a serious bedbug problem and unacceptable management behavior.

To avoid We discovered the following morning that there were bedbugs in one of the two beds of room 3 The guy at the reception told us he didn’t know and that we must have brought them from our last Hostel while it was not possible (slept in a double bed the night before and the other person didn’t have anything). Basically didn’t believe us, and didn’t come to check with us while I didn’t ask for a reimbursement, just that they make us the bed is cleaned for the next people. The staff didn’t apologise. There was a mattress also standing on the balcony so it must not have been the first time there are bedbugs. Absolutely not worth the price paid for the rooms
