Incredible experience. Walter is a gem of a person. Would recommend to any down to earth person. Visit this sanctuary with love and respect in your heart and it will be returned tenfold.

I was rhere yesterday as a pilgrim. and would likecto give 6 from 5 possilble Stars! 1. This hostel iis embeddet perfect umbrian/tuscany landscape. 2. Walter was a pilgrim as well and d2cided to run such a hotel, where it is private community and open discussions as well as soace for endless silence. 3. Rooms are new renoviert and everything is in well conditition 4. Setting at the terrace while sundowning could not be more perfect than it is. 5. Walter gives a lot of information about the sourroundings and is a good story teller- if you ask him.... 6. Book early enough, there are only 9 places in that great hostel! Regards Jürgen

This place is an absolute gem in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Walter is a super friendly host that helps you with everything including self-made bread in the morning. I can highly recommend it for everyone on the Franciscan Way.
