Affittacamere La Mattonata Guest House

I'm giving it four stars because I had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless, and even the bathroom with a window was spotless... the setting was quiet. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room is in an old building with thick walls, so we didn't suffer from the heat... and the fan in the room was enough. The location is good, very close to everything... even the art gallery (very beautiful). La Mattonata only rents rooms and there is no garage or reserved parking, nor does it offer breakfast, but for the latter, there is a small kitchen available to everyone... (I personally preferred to have breakfast in the nearby pastry shop). As for the car, you can park just outside the walls for free and it's very close to La Mattonata. Or you can park in other parking lots nearby. It should be said that Città di Castello isn't a metropolis, so distances are short and pleasant to travel... a true gem... a clean town, quiet and beautiful to visit... in the evening, the lights come on in the beautiful and well-kept rooms, each with its own style!

The room was well-maintained and clean. The welcome was warm and the location was strategic for exploring the city. The only drawback was that the parking lot was a bit far away, but since it's in the historic center, that's understandable.

I stayed with my family and two dogs for three days and had a wonderful time. The room was super clean, with an en-suite bathroom with a window. The staff was kind and friendly. Recommended for a stay in Città di Castello and the surrounding area.
