Free wild campground

Beautiful place, awesome forest and the beach right there. We camped overnight in a van, however in the afternoon the following day an angry police officer showed up and said: "No parking," nothing else. Then he walked us up to the parking lot and pointed to a sign of a tent with a red line over it. He didn't say anything else, but walked around and took pictures of all the cars there, front and back. We were down a small road to the right of the parking lot, and parked where others were parked and it seemed like campsites. There were no signs indicating that there was no parking or no camping, in fact there were no signs at all down there. Either way, we and all others there left promptly after the officer had talked to them. Not sure what the problem was honestly, with the name of the place being: Free wild campground, with apparent campsites, and nothing indicating otherwise, it's hard to know what was what, but apparently we weren't welcome there.

Nice view and surroundings. Can Get very crowded on good summer weekends and holidays
