We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The rooms are charming and clean, the location is perfect for walking to town and to the train, and breakfast with Bernardo was the highlight of our days! We enjoyed trying different local delicacies and sipping cappuccinos each morning. We couldn’t recommend La Madonnetta more!

Our stay at La Modonnetta was wonderful and enjoyable. The location, views, and service was top-notch. Gated parking, wonderful locally sourced breakfast, and excellent advice on excursions, restaurants, and the city.

​An Unforgettable Stay at La Madonetta ​La Madonetta is a true gem, and our stay was nothing short of magical. Bernardo is an incredible host—warm, welcoming, and full of great recommendations. His hospitality made us feel right at home. The accommodations are immaculate and uniquely charming, perfectly combining comfort with authentic Italian style. ​The location is spectacular. Perched on a cliffside, the property offers a breathtaking, panoramic view of the sea from almost every window. We loved starting our days on the beautiful balcony, enjoying a wonderful breakfast of local specialties while soaking in the stunning scenery. ​After a day of hiking, swimming, and exploring, the semi-private jacuzzi was the perfect retreat. There’s nothing like relaxing with a glass of wine, gazing out at the view. Speaking of which, you can purchase wine directly from Bernardo, and we enjoyed sipping a glass in the peaceful common area. ​While La Madonetta feels wonderfully secluded, it’s also incredibly convenient. Bernardo offers rides to the beach at certain times, but we honestly loved the walk. It's an energizing way to burn off a few calories after dining in town. The walk to the train station is a pleasant 15 minutes, making it easy to hop on a train and explore any of the Cinque Terre villages. ​Bernardo is a wealth of knowledge, providing fantastic travel and dining suggestions that made our trip even more special. Our time at La Madonetta was truly unforgettable, and we can’t wait to go back.
