Domus Mariae B&B Assisi

We loved this little B&B. Maria and Carmine are so lovely. Very helpful with recommendations and explaining the city of Assisi. Lovely room and bathroom. Very clean and cosy. Maria makes breakfast every morning and it is amazing. It is a pleasant downhill walk to the city but coming back it is uphill.

A beautiful small B&B with lovely owners that not only give you a very warm welcome but also give information about the city, how to get there and an amazing recommendation for a restaurant. The rooms were the cleanest I think I've ever seen in a B&B or hotel. The breakfast had a big variety of sweet and some savory foods (salami, ham and cheese), the latter being served by the very nice owner.

Assisi is enchanting, with a charming historic center and excellent food and wine. My husband and I spent two fabulous days, too short to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. Our room was on the first floor, very well-kept, clean, and with a wonderful view of the hill. The breakfast was incredibly generous, with homemade cakes made by Mr. Carmine. Mrs. Maria was a wonderful person. We will definitely be back!
