Nidos Accommodation

I don't understand the positive reviews, which don't reflect the reality of our experience this summer. The photos in the listing are a mix of several rentals. We ended up with a rather basic apartment. We initially rented this apartment from August 16th to 30th, but we had to cut our stay short as the apartment didn't match the listing and wasn't suitable for a long-term stay. We notified the owner on August 19th and left on August 23rd, 2025. When I booked, I carefully reviewed the listing and the photos, but they didn't correspond to reality: the photos showed a sofa, and the listing mentioned a "living area," but there was nothing of the sort. In fact, it was a single room with a double bed, a TV stand, a sink, a stovetop, an oven, and a refrigerator. There was nowhere to store our belongings, no bedside tables, no sitting area, no iron, no hairdryer, and no cooking utensils. The only place to eat was outside at a small garden table in a sort of patio. In this same patio, a woman was hanging out the laundry from the nearby accommodations. So we ended up eating our meals amidst this woman's comings and goings and the drying underwear. We had to buy cooking utensils to be able to prepare meals. We reported the problem to the owner, who is no longer responding to our messages, and the Booking.com rental platform can no longer reach him. We requested a refund for the unused week, but the owner has stopped responding. My advice: rent somewhere else!

Very nice apartment. If we return to Porto, we will definitely stay here again.

Very quiet and comfortable, great for spending a few days and visiting the area.
