Eight of us had lunch today with relatives. Set in a beautiful landscape (there's a 150-year-old cherry tree, of particular note), the mountain hut didn't disappoint. I enjoyed their unique dish of polenta made with Sponcio corn (an ancient local variety), pastin, their cooked cheese, and their cappucci. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I hope to return soon.

Carlo, his wife, the cook, and the herdsman dedicate themselves with sincere and expert commitment to managing the mountain hut, where you can eat only delicious food produced by them (from appetizers to desserts) and other small local producers. The lager and amber craft beer are top-notch. Even little Giuseppe is fantastic :) Carlo is truly passionate about his cows; he knows them and constantly studies them to ensure they thrive in a good, healthy environment. The recently born calves are beautiful. Congratulations
