The Scaladale Outdoor Centre and Hostel

The sea kayaking was great fun! It was a bit windy that day, but Tom took good care of everything and made me feel comfortable. He is very responsive, relaxed and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend it!

Popped in as we were cycling the Hebridean way to see if we could use the laundry facilities and showers. Tom was smashing and had no problem with us using it, and even offered us a cup of tea! Very friendly and welcoming guy, and the centre looks top class!

Great place to stay when cycling or hiking the Hebridean Way. The hostel has a decently equipped kitchen, a laundry, drying room and comfortable shared spaces. The staff is very helpful and good to chat to about the islands. This is the perfect stay for someone looking for a place to recharge after a tough hill from Tarbert, providing great value for the money.
