Great location and views - quiet and no sound of traffic, a minute walk to bus stop (for regular buses to Solden or Horgurgl ski resorts), less than five minutes walk to gondola and a mini mart. Modern and stylish decor throughout, but the twin room is basically a double bed and pillows were very thin. Room has balcony, but it is one long shared balcony (no privacy) and there are no tables/chairs on the balcony - pity. Excellent pool, sauna and steam room. Service was a bit off at times in the restaurant, staff often seemed quite stressed/annoyed. Food generally good though, and a decent breakfast buffet.

We stayed at The Moss on our recent ski trip to Obergurgl. Very good location, bus stop at the end of the drive and a short walk to the bubble. Short walk to town, mini mart close by. The hotel is modern and to a high standard of decor with great pool and sauna facilities. Very clean throughout. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The food was generally of a good standard. Lots of choice at breakfast. Some naff dishes at dinner and some odd combinations but other dishes were good. Generous portions. Some food was lukewarm and could have been served hotter. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with lounge and balcony and 3 bathrooms. Very spacious and fitted out to a high standard with excellent bathrooms - premium fittings and showers etc. There was no kettle and no refrigerator which is odd for room of this type and size. The hotel and rooms were very warm in general and it was stifling at times, especially in the dining room. The beds were very uncomfortable and we didn’t really sleep much all week. The mattresses are extremely hard and the pillows thin and unsupportive. For this reason we wouldn’t stay here again which is a shame as the hotel otherwise ticks most boxes we look for in a ski hotel.

Tastefully decorated however, walls are paper thin you can hear everything! Food was just very average, the hotel design is unfit, you cant go sit in the bar as there are very few bar stools and people eating coupled with we had to walk through the whole restauraunt with our cases n boards whilst people were eating. Rooms werent clean and very very dusty in areas, took videos but didnt think I can post on here, management were unhelpful when approached
