Casa Vanatorului

It’s the most beautiful location we booked. It’s very clean, the room we were in (no 1) has a bathroom as big as a five star hotel room itself and you find everything you need in there, even aftershave and antiperspirant. The room itself is also big and with everything you need. The house is amazing and you can see that is family owned and cared for, it’s clean and very cosy, you have a kitchen with all you need and plenty space in the garden. If you walk up in the garden it’s also a beautiful view to the city. It’s absolutely stunning! We said we will come back.

I have to echo all of the other 5-star reviews. Casa Vanatorului is the place to stay in Sighisoara. The rooms are nice, comfortable, spacious, and affordable. The outdoor spaces in the back of the property are an amazing haven to escape to after a long day of sightseeing. Also, the hospitality you will get from Bogdan and his mom are unparalleled. You will feel welcomed and at home and will be given all the information that you need for your stay and trip in town. Oh and lest I forget, free espresso from a real espresso machine whenever you like? Yes, please! You will not regret making this place your home away from home while in Sighisoara.

The perfect place to spend a couple of days in Sighișoara. The house is very clean, beautiful and has lots of history behind it. The garden is very quiet and an amazing place to relax or have a bbq. The hosts were amazing, very helpful. If you plan a trip to Sighișoara this is the perfect place to stay. Walking distance to the Clock Tower.
