La Trinitè Monboso Hotel

We booked this hotel for a week's skiing holiday. When we arrived, it was chaos just to get our key. When we finally got our key to go to our room, the bathroom was very dirty. There was dust everywhere; the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. The hairdryer was also broken. When we wanted to go to sleep, there were children running around screaming, laughing, and making noise in the hallway. It was really awful. I had to open my door a few times to ask them to be quiet. Even after 10 p.m., there was still noise. At 6 a.m., the noise started again. Something really needs to be done about this. The food was mediocre, not really tasty. But something that really shocked me was the unfriendliness. Some staff members are really very rude. And another tip: the bar should stay open all day. Because we often found ourselves standing in front of a closed bar in the hotel itself. When we wanted something to drink and didn't see that the bar was closed, we were treated very rudely. Really a shame. I asked for a coffee but didn't see that the bar was closed, to which one of the staff clearly said to me: “Can you read? It's closed, so what are you doing here?” That's no way to treat your guests.

The rooms are small for 3/4 people, carpet floor not vaccumed a lot, for our entire stay the beds where made and fresh towels but never vaccumed. The food was buffet and for the quantity made was good, missing some fruit variety. The snow lockers are really old and rusty, the pool table looks like it belongs to Frankenstein but it's really close to the slopes.

I’m currently staying here - second visit in 3 years and it is exactly what you need for a skiing trip. The highlight is the staff - all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is busy with private guests and school trip visits too so don’t expect total peace and quiet…. Food and choice for breakfast and dinner is good and plentiful. Worth the prices and conveniently positioned near the lifts.
