Hotel Pesek

Not recommended. The room was not clean (spiders webs, dust everywhere) and there was mould in the fridge. The shower is tiny - I am average sized and my elbows banged the quarter circle shower door when I moved. The bed was uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in the mattresses (yes, the small double bed had 2 very small single mattresses). Very loud, thumping music until 1am, sleep wasn't possible. The breakfast was very poor. No fresh buns, just a loaf of the cheapest bread from the supermarket. Pre-packed sweet bread things, cake and jams. One type of ham and one type of cheese...again, the cheapest there is. Only cornflakes or chocolate cereal...had to ask for milk. There was yoghurt and fruit however. Nothing was cooled...just left out on the table. Not even a coffee machine or hot water for tea...you had to ask every time you wanted a drink. And it cost 95 euros for 1 night (2 people). Not worth even 60! No idea how this hotel has such a high rating.

The place was very cozy and with a friendly atmosphere. All the staff were kind and open to any questions. Room we have and all common places were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Although in the restaurant there was an organized event, our room was quiet.

The rooms are solid and calm, the hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The location is a bit remote but very close on the border to Slovenia. The food selection of the breakfast is not very large, but enough..
