Hotel Brennerspitz

Skiing holiday with family. Best description is “simple yet satisfying.” First I must emphasise the amazing staff that’s always smiles and goes out of their way to help. With two kids running around has there never been a problem - even adjusting dinner menus for them! Mountain lodge feeling, rooms are clean and comfortable yet are somewhat outdated with furniture that has seen better days. Bathroom was separate from toilet and on the smaller side. Most showers were taken at the pool so not a big problem. Reception is not 24h but there’re was always someone to help - way description or laundry service.

The hotel shouldnt have 4* It is quit nice 3* hotel. Nice people. But dont choose it, when you want sleep well. Problem is, that you can hear everything from the other rooms. And we had bad luck, that there was baby crying all night. Nobody in the corridor could sleep. And how you can ski next day, when you and your kids didnt sleep? It can totaly destroy the vacation. I wouldnt come here again, althought everything else was fine.

Front desk person very friendly and gave us a nice tour of the facility. We enter our room and the shower water is running brown (see video). It keeps going and we feel disgusted showering there so we go to the front desk. We get upgraded to a "nicer" room. In this room, the shower doesn't drain and has disgusting amounts of hair clogging the drain. We felt disgusted, and to be paying so much money for two unclean rooms was wrong, so we were refunded our stay and had to find a new hotel and dinner reservation last second.
